Changing shareholders or raising funds to grow one’s company: a matter of luck or despair.
My story dates back to 2017, when I discovered the power of cryptocurrencies – specifically Bitcoin, followed by Ether. Through my business network and by chance, I met my future business partner, with whom I went on to set up my first company in this ecosystem in late 2018. Unfortunately, the relationship quickly soured. From then on, I sought out a businessperson to buy out his shares and carry this venture forward to the success it deserved. I came across compulsive liars, executives who had been jailed, and people who accepted invitations to dine freely at Geneva’s finest restaurants only to tell me the next day that they weren’t interested. I’ve been through all of this. My experience with private equity investments has shown me just how incredibly difficult it is. Even today, eight years later, the original partner is still there and the situation remains deadlocked.
In 2021, I decided to set up Mazalis Marketing and Technologies in Switzerland and launched a revolutionary platform for all SMEs firms seeking funding to grow and expand.
Mazalis Marketplace was born.

Passionate about blockchain, Bitcoin and Ether since 2017, she is, above all, curious about everything, courageous and always on the lookout for new challenges. At the age of 24, having just completed her Master’s degree in business management, she set up her own company in Luxembourg. Over time, she realised that innovation was her passion and returned to university to study for a Master’s in Innovation Marketing, graduating with first-class honours in 2006.
As a marketing research officer at the Henri Tudor Public Research Centre in Luxembourg, which specialises in IT, she worked on market applications for open-source software, RFID chips and NFC (contactless) technologies, and developed products, services and SaaS solutions using innovation marketing tools.
After gaining lots of professional experience, she setteld in Switzerland and embraced blockchain technology with ferveur.

Mr Pierre NGUYEN VAN

Pierre Nguyen-Van is a Geneva-based professional with experience in private banking and a strong interest in financial innovation and emerging technologies. Educated at ADVANCIA (formerly NEGOCIA) of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he has developed his career within the financial services sector and built a professional network in Geneva.
As key vendor at a highly reputable private bank, he is specialised in cyber security. He had a major epiphany about the disruptive innovation that is Bitcoin in 2018 whilst watching an interview between Bill Gates and Chamath Palihapitiya on a CNBC programme.
His interests extend now to blockchain, decentralized finance, cryptocurrencies and the transformation of traditional financial services. With a perspective combining private banking expertise and financial innovation, Pierre Nguyen-Van contributes to the evolving dialogue between traditional finance and the emerging digital economy.

Having held senior management and leadership positions in consulting and business services, Mr. Fabrice Ramillon has a strong understanding of the Luxembourg business and financial environments and an extensive professional network.
